headspace Whitsundays is linked to headspace Mackay which is a service tailored for the local community.

headspace Whitsundays provides FREE confidential health services for young people aged 12 - 25 across the Whitsunday region, including Collinsville, Bowen, Proserpine, Cannonvale, Airlie Beach and the islands.

headspace is an inclusive service and does not discriminate regardless of age, race, cultural background, religion, sexual orientation, gender or disability.

headspace is about making sure young people have the best support, information, and services for their health and wellbeing including physical health, mental health, drug and alcohol issues, employment and education support.

Call us, drop-in to the centre during opening hours, or ask your GP for a referral to headspace Whitsundays.

headspace Whitsundays is linked to headspace Mackay and operated by Northern Australia Primary Health Limited. All headspace services are funded by the Australian Government Department of Health. Administration of funding is carried out by the headspace centre’s local Primary Health Network, in this case, North Qld PHN.

Services

If you live near our headspace centre in a rural area but cannot travel in to see us, you can see our mental health workers online.

Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with any alcohol or other drug concern.

Mental health workers – which may include psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors and other workers – that can help if you're just not feeling yourself.

Workers either on site or linked to the centre who can assist you with work or study opportunities.
