Today, we pause and reflect upon and celebrate the unique qualities of our Nation. Although for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people Jan 26 signifies a painful reminder of the injustices, suffering, mourning and loss their ancestors endured and the intergenerational trauma that comes with that history.

Today we honour the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people who are the descendants of the oldest living culture on earth #survivalday headspace Upper Coomera, understand the process of healing takes places when honest historical #truthtelling conversations occur. headspace Upper Coomera, acknowledge that we work on the traditional lands home to the Yugambeh language speaking group and we recognise that sovereignty was never ceded and Australia #alwayswasalwayswillbeaboriginalland ✨❤️
