If you are supporting a struggling teen, or struggling yourself to support your teen, then these online workshops are for you!  Co-facilitated by Sara Phillips (headspace) and Matt Cramer (Interrelate) these workshops are for parents and carers of teens to connect with others in a safe, non-judgmental space & learn strategies to survive & enjoy the teenage years.  

Topics include:

Getting Back on Track: Realistic Expectations & Priorities
Staying Calm & Understanding Moods & Emotions
Effective Communication & Positive Connection
Negotiating Win:Win Solutions & Conflict Resolution

 When: 5:00pm to 6:00pm. First Tuesday of the month resuming May 5th 2020.

 2. Art Journaling & Mindfulness for Parents

These online workshops run weekly and have been developed to help parents take time for themselves by learning strategies to support their well being. Co-facilitated by Sara Phillips (headspace) with Claudia Richardson (Family & Carer Mental Health Program,Mission Australia) they use tactile and creative means to implement mindfulness and stress reduction techniques in a relaxed, fun way.

Topics covered: managing stress, relaxation skills, mindful listening, empathy & validation, keeping calm, improve ability to respond rather than react, self-care and self-awareness

WHEN: Tuesdays, 6 weeks, starts 12th May, 10:30am-12:30pm

All parents /carers welcome.
