headspace Onkaparinga is encouraging young people to “Pause. Reflect. Reconnect.” for mental health on headspace day 2022.
headspace Onkaparinga invites the local community to come together this October to empower young people, their families, and friends to take steps towards better mental health and wellbeing. headspace day – a national day of support for the mental health and wellbeing of all young Australians – will take place on Wednesday 5 October 2022.
We know many young people are doing it tough for a range of reasons, including the ongoing impacts of COVID-19 and – more recently – study stress, financial stress, and relationship stress.
Sadly, this can lead to feelings of isolation, a lack of motivation, and increased anxiety and depression.
headspace Onkaparinga is here to help. We can provide young people with support for their mental health, as well helping them to achieve their work and study goals.
This headspace day, we will be free running activities for young people, their families, and the community during the October holidays to raise awareness about youth mental health. These activities will promote steps that help young people and their loved ones focus on what gives them purpose and brings them joy. Read more about our headspace Day Group program below.
