Our Diverse City campaign

During the last financial year, over 25% of the young people we supported in our centres identified as LGBTIQA+. In September, we launched Our Diverse City across our social media channels. This campaign is a celebration of every single one of these young people and aims at raising awareness and empowering the young LGBTIQA+ people in our communities.

The young people featured in this campaign are Youth Reference Group members who identify with the LGBTIQA+ community from our headspace centres in Ipswich, Meadowbrook, Nundah & Woolloongabba. Alongside their photo, each person also provided a quote to help inspire or give advice to other young people who might be struggling with their gender or sexuality.
