Accent Group

headspace is delighted to be partnering with Accent Group for the next three years, as our inaugural Strategic Capability Partner

Accent Group’s team, brands and customers will play a critical role in helping headspace increase mental health literacy, reduce stigma and encourage help seeking – enabling us to reach many more young people and their family and friends.

The key initiatives of this partnership include:

Upskill Accent Group staff

Senior staff at Accent Group will be trained to increase their mental health literacy by undertaking the headspace Supportive Conversations Training. This training, which is delivered by headspace clinicians, will provide Accent Group’s staff with the skills and confidence to promote positive mental health and support the thousands of young people employed across their 30 brands.

headspace Career Mentor Program

Accent Group staff will also be taking part in the headspace Career Mentor Program, a meaningful and impactful volunteering experience in which their staff will act as mentors, working alongside young people as they navigate their early career to engage and thrive in the world of work. We are excited to have staff from Accent Group bring their breadth of knowledge and enthusiasm to this program.

Fundraising and engagement

Accent Group are launching their brand new foundation and workplace giving program, “Stamp your Feet”. Stamp your Feet will encourage staff to participate in workplace giving, as well as other fundraising events and activities in support of headspace. Funds raised will go towards priority projects to grow our reach and impact, helping headspace pilot and scale programs, increase service delivery, support family and friends and ensure that young people can access the right support, when they need it and how they want it
